With two great South-facing windows and 12 foot ceiling, a lift outside my door, bathrooms and plenty private parking at the back, this sun-filled space really does feel wonderful. As this fine old building slowly fills with new occupants, a sense of creativity and business permeates the air and I feel rejuvenated to leave the house and actually go to work – the first time for me in about twenty years.
The building, previously an Orphanage and Deaf School, has been given the new name ABCD – Arts & Business Campus Drumcondra, already houses a fully equipped Gym, a Yoga, Martial Arts & Self-Defence studio, a Dance School, Aromatherapist, Graphic Designer, Montessori, Mortgage Advice business, a bunch of painters & sculptors – and myself. In the coming weeks, a Café will open and this will serve as a welcome to all who enter the building from Drumcondra Road. For anyone driving, there’s plenty parking around the back – just take the turn at Independent Pizza under the railway bridge and take the next right and in through the big sliding blue gate.
I’m open for business – studio portrait work for actors, families, Linkedin profile shots etc and can offer a framing service for photos, paintings, university degrees, old prints and such. Of course, I still provide all my other services – digital scanning of flat art, reproduction work, film & transparency scanning, making Photo Books etc, as outlined in my Services section – Photographic Services
While I hope to spend a lot of time at my studio, I won’t be there all the time so please call or email me to make an appointment.
